#1 Pictures

Thanks JCP! I had his pictures taken about a week ago. It turned into action photography as with any 1 year old.








Carter is just busy learning. His favorite word it "uh-oh" and loves to practice with real life situations (i.e. dropping things from his high chair or dropping things in the tub on purpose). He says "mama" in moments of distress and used to say "baba" for his bottle. He signs all done, shakes his head no or if he wants you to dance based on context, and loves to greet people and bid farewell with waving. He is really good at reaching and grunting for everything else that he wants. Unless he's thirsty, then he has a whine or if he is hungry, he finds me. When we sing "If You're Happy and You Know It", he claps his hands. When we sing "Five Little Monkeys", he dances for the jumping part and waves his hand back and forth for the "no more monkeys jumping on the bed" part. He loves to experience free falling instead of being thrown up in the air we hold him in the air and drop him and then catch him. He shares food with Mommy and Daddy and toys with his friends that he is playing with. He fake cries when Owen, his 2 year old friend, barely touches him or pushes him. Carter giggles a lot especially when he plays with Daddy and loves to be tickled. Buttons are one of his favorite things especially all the TV remotes and TV gadgets (Play Station and DVD Player). He knows how to turn on our TV with the button on the front. With remotes he pushes buttons until something changes on the TV. Then when nothing is playing, he hands the remote to Daddy usually to fix it. The keyless lock for the car is another big hit. He can turn the alarm off and on and has figured out the trunk opens. Carter is addicted to visiting the dogs across the street and going in his swing. He is a master relocator like when mommy's cellphone turned up in the fridge.
