Carter LOVES to peel apples with the apple peeler. He is like a little chipmunk when it comes to eating them though. He sucks out the juice and spits out the rest of the apple. It makes a trail wherever he goes. Every day he asks to peel an apple, so we peel 1 apple pretty much every day. (Carter runs our house if you were wondering.) He likes the cores which I haven't quite figured out.

This time we were making apple crisp, hence there is more than 1 apple.


We ate at Filomena's on Veteran's Day. Government employees get that holiday off. It was so great to have a free day. They were busy decorating for Christmas and were using lots of tools. Carter was so busy watching them work. He LovEs to watch people work and help in any way you will let him.


We made it to the "Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear", but it was so so crowded, we couldn't get close enough to be able to see or hear. it was very interesting people watching. We ended up letting Carter ride the carousel and heading home to watch it on TV.

On the Mall

Carter petered out and then we headed home with a very peaceful Metro ride. A double bonus: Carter wasn't going wild on the train since he was napping and we beat the crowds.

We went to "Air and Scare" with my BFF Krista. Carter ate a lot of candy and had so much fun with her girls.

Carter was a football player. We went trick-or-treating to maybe 5 houses. We went to our immediate neighbors on all sides of us. The sucker was by far Carter's favorite piece of candy, although he can readily request candy, chocolate, and suckers.

We didn't carve pumpkins this year, so Carter got to paint a pumpkin. Not much has changed as far as his cleanliness with his painting. Thank goodness for the washable paints!
