Carter is maturing so much which is mighty encouraging knowing baby Kylie will be joining us this month. Today he just spontaneously told me "Love you!" Awww! His favorite color word for the past 2 weeks has been "yellow" and then "green". He loves the colors of the traffic lights and we talk about what they mean. If you ask him about yellow, he'll tell you "fast" and red and green are just the obvious stop and go. I'm sure I'll be regretting that yellow light thing one day. He just keeps getting more and more fun!
He loves all the baby equipment. At Thanksgiving, he was eager to help swing Krista's baby and bounce another baby in a bouncer. I was worried the little girl was going to launch out of her bouncy chair. His intentions are good! (The blurr in the picture is a small fingerprint.)

We now do most of our painting in the bathtub since that is where we end up anyways. He tells me things off of the drawing portion of Yo Gabba Gabba that he is painting. The blue one to the right of his hand is a fish and one of the other pictures was a happy face that he did.

Here's Carter's happy face!

He loves to help clean off the paint probably as much or more than painting.

Carter always asks for a chair whenever I do any cooking. He is my little kitchen hand which is usually fun, but sometimes raises my blood pressure.

The final stretch...Less than a month to go!

We got our tree last night and the whole way home, Carter kept telling us "tree". He is pretty excited about it. We'll see how good of an idea it is to have a tree with a 1 year old. I have used the super glue multiple times in the last month with our Christmas decorations. They go back together pretty well. We have lights around an archway. Carter grabs onto the end and swings it saying "weee."
