Carter the Character

Carter has been interested in tools lately and fixing things. When our power went out on Wednesday, we told him our house was broken, the heater was broken, the TV was broken, etc. He went and gathered his tools and said "house fix". He is so fun to have around and keeps me on my toes or thinking I need to be on my toes when I am feeding Kylie.

The toilet is the new hot item of the week. Things keep getting washed and dunked in there. I kind of thought we were past this, but it has taken on new appeal apparently. I love that he is so honest though and admits all the things he's done at this point. Here is an example of one of our conversations lately.

Mom hearing splashing in the toilet upstairs when I was downstairs.
Carter proceeds down the stairs: Wet
Mom: What happened?
Carter: Toilet
Mom: What else was in the toilet?
Carter: Duck in there
Mom: Are you supposed to play in the toilet?
Carter: No

Tonight he spontaneously decided he was going to get his shovel and eat his dinner with it. We think he is a pretty funny kid, but some days I am sprouting new gray hairs from all his "humor."

Well it took you long enough to post these very cute pictures. I love the shovel pictures...I hope you washed it. That kid is always finding new and inventive ways to keep you entertained. Very creative
