VA Beach

We went to the beach with one of Jason's economic buddies. His wife's family owns this beach house that is about 1/2 block to the water and 100 yards to the beach. It was SO nice of them to invite us. Carter was ON the entire first day. I think it had something to do with there were 3 brooms he could play with constantly, there was a dog walking around, and he was performing for new people. He ran between the brooms and the dog like a ping pong ball. He was quite wired.

Our family by the ocean. I body surfed a few waves and felt 17 again.

We went to an aquarium and they had an open pool filled with sting rays for everyone to pet. Carter and I got in on the action. He would bravely hold out his hand and giggle when they would swim into his hand. I was throughly grossed out after the curiosity of touching them wore off. We didn't touch these ones, but it is the right creature at least. Carter was dodging and weaving through the crowds at the aquarium. Jason and I were spent after running the entire thing chasing Carter.

One of the brooms. We may have convinced this poor couple to just stick to dogs. He is showing his broom to Picot, Steve's wife.

Carter terrorizing Ariadne the dog. He would walk behind their dog so her tail would "tickle" his face. I think he would have slept in her doggie bed if we let him. He also attempted to ride her, feed her, and play with her toes.

This is why he finger paints without clothes. Some things aprons just can't handle, like Carter.

P.S. We got a NEW CAMERA! Now I can put pictures onto our computer instantly again instead of going to the store to get them "developed" really put on a CD, but it felt like the olden days.

Carter you must be related to quincy =) She stands on her push car, eats all the dirt, sand, and bark around her, loves the water, and must be moving and exploring at all times. We can't wait to see you guys. What a fun summer you guys are having.
