Our sweet little Carter will be 1 in just 19 days. It is hard to believe we have had him for a year. It definitely has not been long enough. He is quite the little character when it comes to diaper changes. They bring him to tears nearly everytime and he has worn diapers his whole life. I just figured he would know by now what he was in for like laying on his back for less than a minute. Not Possible in his book. We change diapers on the go. Recently, he discovered how to open the toilet, both the lid and ring. Just the lid up is pretty fun, but when he gets both he can really get in there to splash! When the bathroom door is closed, he hits the door and cries. He loves the vacuum and opening/closing the clothes washer. Hopefully, these interests will come in handy in a few years. As for most kids, dogs are very appealing. Just the usuals for a little one, but the difference is that he is on loan to US.
He is very attached to the green and brown blanket. We went to Kohl's to buy a back up and at first only found a blue and brown one and thought that would work. On our way to the register, we found 1 green one and gave Carter the choice of which one he wanted. He immediately grabbed the green one and cuddled it to his face and made some little sounds. He LOVES his blanky and the back up.
He has to get in on the action!
The gate calls his name whenever he sees it. I just don't understand what is so cool about that.

It's because it keeps him locked upstairs or down so he loves it when he can conquer it.

AWWWW we should have a party! That is so cute that he pouts when the bathroom door is closed. He KNOWS about all the fun that is locked up behind that door!

Love it. He's adorable! I love how attached he is with his blanket. That totally reminds me of Lily. She loves one and only one blanket.
