Here is some "male bonding time" with Jason playing a game and Carter just amazed, mainly at just being with dad.
My parents were here visiting for a medical conference in DC. They spent Father's Day with us. Happy Father's Day!
Carter now sucks his thumb, mainly when he is sleeping at night. We just laugh and think it is so cute! He is a happy little fellow and growing like crazy. He set a new record for continuous hours of sleep with 8.5 hours (almost a perfect 10)! Then there's the rest of the nights when he wakes up every 2 to 3 hours.
We went on our first vacation away from the DC area since having Carter. We traveled about 3 hours to Philadelphia for the day. There we are at the liberty bell.
We visited some Smithsonian museums (Natural History and The Art Museum) which are FREE. I tried to reenact the statue, but Carter wasn't having it. We saw a lot of famous artists' paintings including Van Gogh, Rembrant, Picaso, Da Vinci, Monet, etc.
We watched the fireworks on the Mall. Carter loved it at first and watched in awe for the first song or two, and then he got sad. It was really late and loud for a 3 month old.
