Super Shower!

It was so fun to see several of the cute young women there. Here is Veronica, Brianna, and Allyssa. There was so much mouth watering food including Michelle's amazing homemade rolls and strawberry jam and Aubrey's Spinach Poppy Seed Salad seen on the table. You can't see the rest of the food but we had an Michelle's Asian chicken salad, Becca's Frog eye salad, Cheryl's cupcakes, and some sherbet Sprite punch.

Here are some great friends in our ward Kris (holding baby Allie), Tiffany, Sandi, and Crystal (The YW President that I work with).

Here you see my friend from 2nd grade and for life Krista, my friend from graduate school at Utah State Go Aggies! Alyssa, and one of the fantastic creative Shower hostesses Cheryl. On the mantle you can see little bowls of baby food that we smelled and guessed the flavor. Krista was one of the winners! I was completely clueless.

Here are more great friends from the ward. Cheryl's baby was due about 10 days from this point and next to her are Emily and Aubrey.

Here I am. My eyes are not wide enough in this picture to do justice to how much people gave us. Jason and I were so overwhelmed and humbled by the generosity that was shown. We truly couldn't believe it. We had the biggest pile of bags, boxes, and presents which we haven't seen anything like it, except maybe your best Christmas as a child. I had so much fun being able to see so many friends at one time and we had an excellent hostess Michelle who was also the photographer and hence not photographed. You can see her home in the pictures, but sadly no Michelle in the pictures. Maybe this will help give you a mental picture...She is this great girl who is an excellent party thrower and event organizer for large groups of friends. She has the cutest 1 year old that is bursting with a fun personality. Anything Michelle makes just melts in your mouth. I have never had anything that I didn't just love that she made. After all that Cheryl and Michelle did including making these amazing scrap booking invitations, mailing them, and planning the all the food, they sent everyone home with a jar of homemade jam with this cute saying on top "Little boys & Jam Both sticky and sweet."

It may seem like this just happened yesterday, but really it was 2 weeks ago on February 7th. I am just a little slow.

You are too kind Wendi! I'm just glad you liked the shower, it was nice to be able to throw it for you. I will email you the salad recipe to pass along to Jessica. Also Krista you can buy won ton wraps from the grocery store and then fry them at home. I got mine from Safeway and it was by the bags of salad.
